I think I might have to drag the ol' T out for this one, she's dying to stretch her legs a bit!

Lol, thanks Mondo! I may take you up on that just so I can stick my hands in the coffee. Just took it out for a spin on the "mean streats" of salem, and yes it was cold, and so freakin' fun. The plan is to head up there as of now. Still trying to talk my wife into going. I'd love to take a spin down 23rd and through the pearl just to screw with the uppity types. Open headers perhaps? Way too tempting...and illegal.

I can't make it this time but we should defiantly have another one, hopefully the wagon will be ready by then. It's a great idea though!

I would pay to ride with you through uppity Pearl especially with open headers. "Would" pay but been outta work too long so maybe an IOU? Well, hope to see you and your coupe in person at the very least.

  22. Damn! Portland is my old home town but now I'm stuck out here in the center of the country...
It's been awhile but I don't remember the Voodoo on Sandy...I do, however, remember the Tic-Toc on sandy across from the Portland Athletic Club..Burnside and Sandy came together there. I used to cruise this 389, 4 speed 57 Poncho in the late 60s-early 70s...then stepped up to this 68 GTO...400, 4 speed... to the Tic-Toc, over to the Speck on Foster and up to Kings on 82nd street...wish I could be with you guys.

It was a fun, but very wet trip. Took the old highway up on the way to Cascade Locks then bombed down 84 on the way back throwing 9ft rooster tails the whole way. My buddy was strugglin' to keep up with me in his Corvair! I was soaked and wanted a warm house and dry clothes.
