#1462.....are we in the same area? The old building? This is my first time with a stall. Another photographer sets up at the track and says its his best show of the year so I couldn't resist squeezing in.

I'll be at the track booth 6167. Next to the slough. Stop and rest your feet and shoot the breeze. Can't say if I'll make the meeting at the Expo at this time. Should be a blast anyhow.

Some areas can become a "swamp" meet real quick if it gets to raining good.


I'm thinking about going and I have a shopping list for a change but we are going down for the Roadster show and may make a weekend of that and two trips down so close together might be a bit much for the budget.

Now I may have to put in for a vacation day on Friday and go down then.

 

Im heading up from Utah for my first time to the swap meet. Its got to be great compared to anything around here. Got my list started.

 

Count me in. We are heading down Wednesday night, hitting the Track Thursday and the Expo Friday and back at the track Saturday and then heading out afterwards. Its the most excersise I get all year!! Good for my health, not so good for my Pocket book. Taking the RV at a whopping 7 mpg!! Yeee Haw!!!!
Good thing is , the Fridge and stove works great so Cold Beer and great steaks!!
Camping at its best!! Last year the 30 ft RV was stuffed with killer car parts deals and so was the trailer hitch shelf extension!!

The Monster- I talked to you a couple years back and bought some of your stuff. You sellin some more stuff this year? Need to get some more art!

I will be there, tryin to get the wife to come out, so she can see what I do at the Swap Meets.
One thing about the Swap you never know what the weather is gonna be like. When I went two years ago, it was cold and rainy, then got HOT and SUNNY. I even got a sunburn!

Friends and I have some spots across from the drag strip tower. I'll be out most of the time prowling for 48-50 F1 and Model A junk.

 

We'll have lots of Pontiac and GTO parts, space 4200, South hall up top.

Been going for years, Wouldn't miss it. Picked up my '40 DeLuxe last year.

Usually only have time for a run down on Saturday, and try to see as much as I can until my feet are burning. Don't forget your good walkin' shoes...

 

I SHOULD bring my sweety down and drag her around with me to pay her back for visiting the in-laws last weekend in Dallas, and not going to the Texas Thaw.

I'm driving from Spokane, WA....SERIOUSLY thinking of driving my lil 60. It has a 250 6 cylinder and a three speed OD and coast down the freeway with ease. Would be a nice 350 mile test drive
