Bought a pair of six finned small block valve covers for 60$, T Touring body in real good shape for 500$. Couldn't find what I was looking for--go figure.

I thought purchasing was down a bit from last year. I did get a set of Alliance mags for my wagon for free and a really nice ACE Ford Sportsman wooden model kit.

Didn't come away with much. I met up with Chris, who brought me a real nice grill shell for my coupe. One of my rings on the guide headlights I got a while back was kinda beat up. I ended up buying a pristine one off Roadster Joe.

    That was about it.

Oh yeah, got a sweet April 1984 issue of Guitar Magazine with Sammy Hagar on the front of it for free. HA!

As I said in the other thread we got there too late for much to be left to pick from.

I did get three 17 inch Chevy six hole wire wheels with 7.00 tires that someone had left by a trash can. They might go on the rear of the boat tail if they look right on it.

We went to the race track yesterday at 11 but probably should have gone to the expo center instead.

Saturdays weather (Rain/Hail/showers) really killed sales. Friday was great, as the weather was nice.

Best deal I got was a '53 Chevy chrome glove box door for $1.00, and a
57 Buick Dash cluster for $1.00

I saw that! It was that guy outside the expo that said he was getting out of the hobby and wanted to take nothing back with him, right? I actually noticed that glove box and almost grabbed it "just in case" since I usually have a 53/54 Chevy project going.

He seemed like a really nice guy. I wanted to talk to him but he was too busy trying to sell off his stuff. Said he had to bury his wife on Monday:( and wanted "All this **** gone!"

Yeah, its darn close to your mag score roach..at least I think so.. went to look at it last night it has a few things to sort out, front brakes, it won't keep an idle without the choke... some patch work some wiring ...but its complete and runs. I am a dumb*** to ask but you know anything about 4 bangers and model a brakes...or what?

There wasn't as much as I had hoped. I was expecting way more than what I found.

Found this little number for the new motor I'm building for the T. I'm hoping that I can get the twin 97's tuned down enough to run it :D

I picked up the Burns intake for $275 and the pair of Stromberg 48's for $150. I think the 48's are gonna be too much though, so I do have a set of 97's for it. Hopefully, I can get the new motor for the T to run with this setup.

I'm stoked about it too! The guy I bought the intake from did have two others: a Thomas and a Zephyr. Both were dual downdraft intakes.

I almost bought the Thomas, but I liked the look of the Burns more.

I took a long look at this Sunday but the guy who had it was too busy visiting to throw out a price
    [IMG]
It looked like it could be turned into something the grand kids could have a ball with.

Or the worlds smallest modified sports car for Bonneville with a bike motor in it.

I guess my best buy was the Ansen 10x15 slots with Goodyear Eagle slicks for $100, or maybe the chrome tube grille for my '69 Burb for $5.

I scored a clean complete 36 banjo, sans bones with later juice brakes, 4.11 gears ofcourse. A later rear Ford spring, two 36 and earlier axles, a 37 axle, and a model A wishbone. The early Chevy truck roof came free with the banjo, the other roof is of unknown make but is straight and cool, will use it sometime:). I saw alot more i wanted but ran out of $$$.
