Hello, I have an original mag Champ Halibrand quick change. It uses the short series bells. Currently has a spool in the setup. Want to run it on the street and looking for a posi or locker unit. Was such a unit ever made? Would it be the same as the 39 Ford 3/4 ton truck? Most of the posi/locker units I see are for the long series side bells, like the winters. This spool/carrier is really narrow. Does anyone know if there is another application that can be made to work with machine work involved? I am currently looking at a 9" posi, and spacing the bells out to work at the correct distance, but figured I would ask here first to see if anyone knows of a more closer application that can be made to work.
