Here are a few shots of Posie new ride for 2007 ....

I think he calling it .."INLINE FLEETLINER" ..based off a 1947 chevy!

Nice to see Jim Rizzo (Tech editor S/R magazzine ) making the trip from the WC to do a feature of the car

I wouldn't own it, but it's certainly fun to look at... I love that Posies does those cars.

    A Chevy turned VW???

I will say that Posie is one of the few guys that will put himself out there with innovative stuff. I Gotta respect that.

It looks well made and its got some really cool individual features, but as a complete package, well its ugly. Looks like volks rod!

As a marketing tool, it will do well. People either love it or hate it, but they talk about it. It gets coverage and an emotional response (mines just a taste of puke). Posies will do well out of it and I do like some of there other cars, but overall not this one.

I may be stepping on some toes here, but I gotta say that everytime Ken does a Cool idea'd car something fails in the translation from concept to actual vehicle. I was all excited when he was gone to do the flathead head flyer 34, the concept looked ok on paper but when I saw it in person with those Sweet Swirl Hali's I mean it just broke that whole car up. Same deal with the Phunky 32 project. Cool idea, but bad execution! The wheels as well as the cloth fenders blew the Hot Rod look on that one, Tall/Wide 17's just don't do it in the looks dept. The top was acceptable because it was just differen enought not to screw up the lines of overall effect.
This car is by far his worst! Am I wrong here? Doesn't it exude the line of Fred Hidalgo's "Stink Bug" hot rod inspired VW,abeit in a stretched and slightly narrowed form?
There is some good idea's on many of the cars that his company builds, but this takes that "Dare to be Different" way of thinking not anywhere near the box.

that motor setup alone costs more than most of our rides combined. It's a blown Rousch V10 out of a Leman car most likely, or maybe a boat.

So this is Posies new stretched Bug with a Deuce shell? What's funny is that if some guy no one had ever heard of built that...he'd be laughed outta town.

"I like the surrounds around the guages" is the ONLY nice thing I can think to say.

Looks a lot like a blown 300 6cylinder to me. Count six injectors, and intake/exhaust both out the passenger side of head.

It looks French..................There are some features I really like, the trunk lid/fastback section, frame horn detail, rear tire choise. The screwed on roof just kills it, needs a full hood, and '32 Ford readiator shells belong on '32 Fords and Model A's.

Definately a Ford big six, I've spent enough time on those to know them in my sleep.

Damn good engines, should move that thing along plenty well enough.

Nice to see a Ford in a Chevy for a change. I thought big name shops were only allowed to use GM crate motors.

I love the innovators, the guys who push the envelope. Let them spend the time and money so we can see what works and what doesn't, and pick out the parts we like for our next project, and discard the rest----after all, that's where all this "traditional" stuff came from.
I like the rear view, don't like the wheels, it needs a hood (and probably has one) and now I know I'll never put a plaid interior in any of my cars. With all that said, I still like it, very good craftsmanship as usual.

I'm never one to heap praise on a Posie's creation for many of the reasons stated here. I'm too conservative to accept much of what he does or tries to do. One thing for certain, he's never shy about taking an idea and putting it out there "critics be damned".
As far as this one is concerned ,for some strange reason, I'm drawn to it.
Besides, can you imagine if it was rusty, mexican blanket interior, 18" Ford wires w/www's , and flathead straight 8 driping oil all over the chassis and ground, exposed driveshaft running right next to your elbow and no brakes? HOT DAMN, now that's something to get excited about. Oh yea, forgot, it needs "Rat Rod Rum Runner" painted in house paint with a shop rag on the quarter panels to complete the picture, right? Can you say "feature car"?   :D

Posie once told me that he likes to include a few controversial design elements into every car, just to keep the tongues wagging. It works - I get a kick out of peoples reactions to his stuff (and he's probably reading this and snickering right now). FWIW, I dig his stuff (most of it). This one really entertained me, with lots of fun discoveries on it. And lately I've been thinking a lot about narrowing a car.....

  29. That looks like a street rodder's attempt to emulate a traditional rod, that has horribly wrong!I'm sure the workmanship is great, but the car design doesn't seem to stick to one theme.Individually many good ideas, but if you threw them all in a blender, well they just get mixed up!Also a FORD in a CHEVY???

Love it or hate it I'm betting on at least 6 clones being built by York SR Nat's. When he started the red and black 2 tones all you heard was I hate it or I love it. Count how many Street rods still have the Posie 2 tone split at the beltline. This is definately off the page and you can mark me down as I like it.
