Posies 1/4 elliptic question

I've been doing a little research and noticed a lot of folks using a four-bar set up... I'd prefer the radius/hairpin set-up in the initial pic as I'm using a '32 ch***is. My concern as stated previously was wondering if using this setup requires a watts link or some type of panhard bar. I really like the premise of some "adjustability" with these... and more room in the trunk for ??? over using the "A" crossmember... which I already have.

 

No panhard needed as its triangulated, this car has a 5" channel so it can't be seen, works real good.

Probably a worthwhile investment.
