I can't wait to see it in person. As Tommy said the deatails on his cars are amazing. I like the small cowl vent. Love the hood doors! The lines where the rear fenders where are cool. Details! Details!

The cool part about Posie is he's not building the same **** everybody else is. He's not afraid to step out of the box (sometimes it's a big leap)

Love it or hate it you have to gove him credit for doing something different. Anybody can build a black 32!

At first glance, it looks like a Volksrod to me. Except, I might actually like a Volksrod better. :)

Lowcab ...from what I heard the Dynamat display car has been built for real now. It is supposed to do the tour to Sema with the Posie car.

I like the rear 3/4 view...

I hate the front 3/4 view...

    I love the engine.

I like the design of the wheels, but I think they're way too big (diameter-wise).

I'll reserve overall opinion until I see the car completed. Ken's stuff has a way of looking better once it's all done.

In a hobby where damn-near EVERYTHING has been done before...... I like it a lot. I'd have done a few things differently sure but this thing really gets me to wondering.......

Sure, we've narrowed bodies to make modifieds for years but imagine the possibilities this opens our eyes to.....

Stuff like this, Thom Taylor's renderings of Fordor s****s cut/sectioned/put back together in roadster or funky "Victoria Coupe" form, and Plowboy's morphodites are really changing the way I look at cars.

I like traditional cars too much to probably ever work my way far enough down "the list" to try one of these wild creations but I do look forward to seeing more.

Interesting. Can't wait to see it finished.

Exactly what I thought. That's a real problem on these cars with narrowed bodys. Narrowing makes the windshield look unchopped because of the proportions.

HaHa, how funny is it that I was thinking exactly the OPPOSITE?

I dislike the front view with the grille not flowing, but really like the side view with the lenght. Opnions are deffinitly like they say...........

    Really?

    I'll take a black '32 anyday.

    Guess I'm too traditional. :)

I have allways loved Posies cars....weather it was my taste or not. He is the most "creative" builder with "taste" imho if that makes sense. Too often we see "dare to be different" with ZERO creative thought behind it.

Sorry ...I was just saying it takes no imagination to build a black 32 it's been done a million times. I like different just cause it shows creativity.

    I guess I'm not traditional

What you heard is correct, Josh Shaw and his posse are thrashing hard to get it done for SEMA and it's one of the reasons none of those guys from the Cinci area were at the HunnertCarPileUp....too busy thrashing. I'm VERY excited to see it. Like him or hate him he does some amazing work.

Posie build, well I'm not too excited right now BUT I am looking forward to seeing it in person and checking out the details.

Ever since the early 80's, I've seen this guy come out with, almost always, over the top creations. Some I've liked more than others but I've liked 'em all. Posies doesn't seem to be inhibited by any set of rules which is WAY cool. That is, as long as the finished product has the obvious attention to detail his cars always seem to have. The dude's not afraid to take chances, you gotta hand him that!

I'd love to see some better pics of the Corvair he had a long time back. Anybody remember Phunkie '32? There were two distinct choices he made in rolling stock, the first, perhaps for show(?) was the best, skinny 16 inch sikkle tires up front on apple green Kelseys. Looked cool tucked up inside those black baby buggy wheel pants (one of the very few hiboys that looked good to me WITH spats). The "driver" version was on 15" deals and, like, 145 Michelins (so-so).

Can't wait to see what surprises are left in store for this 'un....

  17. I agree completely. I often think that their cars are a little out there, but at least they are not belly ****on cars.
The quality and attention to detail can not be argued.

most posie cars look kind of cool in this stage. as always there are a few things out of wack, like the grille in this case, but overall a certain degree of coolness.

then he finishes them with out of place interior design and materials, canvas fenders and other oddities.

what he needs to do is hire a couple of HAMBers to come over during the build process and say "hey Posie, how 'bout we do this instead"

The motor itself looks awesome. I love that look of it. Just plain *** mean! KNUX!

  22. You nailed it!
I think it would look cool with a stock hood trimmed to fit, and the stock grille bars reshaped and stretched along the hood, back to the cowl, art-deco style

It's outside-the-box which I commend them for doing, it's cars like this that make us talk.

Here's a quick Photoshop job. Put a hood on it and chopped the top more.

The craftsmanship my be second to none, but it's ugly and out of proportion.

I don't think it flows real well, However, 30 years from now it will be a priceless gem, like an original Roth car
