Reminds me alot of a Beetle and I agree with the grill shell, it looks too tall. I do like the Photoshop LowCab did, if it turns out anything like that my opnion might change but intill then its just another wierd looking Posies car to me.

Some of Possie's cars are like ugly baby's. Your first reaction is "auhg" but after a bit you learn to love 'em.:D

And yes I hope some day my attention to the details will be half as good as those guys.

Looks like an engine in need of a car, so they wrapped something around it. Sort of like a smooth rat.

I would have put the engine in an El Dorado with pink fur trim on the car seats.

Different is not always good...as Posie proves over and over again. I know he looks here or has someone report back to him, 'cause I heard he threw a fit last time someone here didnt fall in love with his weird version of a hot rod. He always finds someone to pay GIANT money for the stuff, so what do I know.

I think Posie is losing it! It's not tradional or cutting edge. I always liked the fact that Posie never went tolally smooth in the 80's and early 90's like Boyd but the since the woody the only car I liked has been the Roush powered pickup.

obviously posie doesnt have the same style as most of us on here. he does indeed think outside of the box and does a good job of that.
i think one of the biggest problems with building cars is not having a smooth flow or a consistant pull towards it...
having a car that looks great but some things just pop out at you and make you think...HUH!?!?
(such as on the last car they built "I" thought the windsheild was too steep and the grill tilted too far front...just my thinking)
this i believe is due to not taking the time to roll a car outside and stand very far away from it and gathering it as a whole...the sum of all the parts in one big vision
for those of you not local. posies is a small shop and its VERY tight for space...and i think that this is what causes alot of his "statements" to not be able to see the forest for the trees
they work out all of these above and beyond ideas and do a good job of twisting them together and from a few feet away they're rather intriguing.
from 50 feet...alot of those details seem to drop and you start seeing the kinks in the car pop out more.
i know MANY MANY times i think i have something looking ok such as cutting the quarters on my current project..only to get it outside and say..phew what was i thinking.

personally i think this car has a lazy eyed look to it...the center of the windsheild at the top seems to be a focal point and it reminds of droopy eyes...i think if that line were fixed and it had something similar to a delahay set of fenders maybe floating fenders with the suspension and a grill at a near vertical position (not front)it would help it....

cars can be too low, too long, too......different!
but thats just my opinion and the cars not done...so maybe he'll suprize us?

    Have you been drinkin'?
Posie builds some really cool stuff but it seems there is at least one major component on each that totally ****s the whole thing. With Extremeliner, it was the floral interior. With New Age Sweptback, it was the red interior. With that goofy Thunder Road truck, it was the motor....and wheels, tires, interior....anyways. With this car, it's the car itself. My daughter would say "Daddy, that car isn't a hot rod; it's yucky." Can'y argue with the queen.

Is that some type of Volkswagen that didn't make it into production? The door and door window look V.W. to me.

I think a track nose would have worked even better. I get tired of people just sticking Deuce shells on EVERYTHING! I love when somebody uses a tractor shell or some non-Deuce shell on they're non-deuce car. Don't get me wrong, I love the look of a Deuce shell, I just think they're overdone.

It needs a hood, and maybe hidden headlights in the fenders.

I admire thier craftsmanship without question, and i too like to see thing's that are outside the box to some extent. But i've had a hard time warming up to the last few car's his shop has put out. NOT the quality of them, just the overall look i guess..
This one is no different in that aspect for me..
