I like it, other than the grille. I wouldn't build it, but there are a lot of acars that are well respected I wouldnt' build or own either, and many that I would. I'v eseen a nuber of people hre build much uglier stuff that gets a p*** from the rest of you because it's "traditional," or what you're used to seeing. As for Posie being an ***, I've never met him, but I do know other peope in the industry (and in life) that if met on one day would be condisidered ***es, and on another day, would be best bud material. And half of the perception is in yourself... And it looks like a VW in the same way that every other sedan from the era looks like a VW.
I've been around him several times. He's an egotistical ,pompous *** that's become a legend in his own mind.........just my opinion
He's def trying to push the envelope and the craftmanship is really nice but that doesn't mean it looks good. And i know people that have worked for him and well they don't think too much of him.
posies car is screaming for full fade-away fenders from the front to the back if you ask me. someone who is more techno-saavy should try that on here for us.
I have followed him over the years and have used many of his products. They work .Met him some years ago and found to be a nice guy.it may be some people have nothing in common and he sees right through you therefore his at***ude changes.
Wow you guys are brutal. I am glad to see someone out there that has the guts to try radical changes.Yes he doesn't build belly****on boring cars ,so what! I personally don't care for the design but it wasn't built for me.Somebody will dig the **** out of it,that is what matters. We need guys out there like Roth,Barris,Wenfield,Hines,Stucky and Starbird .The craftsman not afraid to take chances and build radical rides.
Yeah,Posies has but some outstanding cars over the years...IMHO this ain't one of them.it's as fugly today as it was 8 years ago. HRP
Looking at Posie's Chevy/Volvo pictures only backs up my thinking Ken sprayed too many chemicals on flowers without wearing a mask as a kid! Great guy but his guys in the shop should keep Ken away from drafting paper.

Greetings! If his goal was to "shake, jar, jolt: startle, surprise, horrify, scandalize, disgust" (Roget's Thesaurus) Posies has succeeded in spades. If his goal was to create a timeless cl***ic he instead needs to practice restraint in vision and coherence in design.

Just fugly !now we all know that ken posie has extreme fab skill set, but ability to pull that off , would have been a miracle IMHO ! I don't want to see that fugly car anymore !
If all the people that scream about the HAMB being for traditional hot rods don't get their shorts in a twist over this car then I will lose faith in them. Maybe it's because " Posie " built it. Like others have said " Its Fugly"........
So, this thread is mainly about a dumb car that Posies built in 2006. He built a lot of dumb cars, and a few really neat ones, over 15 years or so. Googling his name, it seems he hasn't built anything new for several years. Rather than continuing to kvetch about the Chevy, does anybody have any news about anything he's done since then?
