I am getting ready to put Posies Super Slider Springs on my 55 Customline Forder. I've read that after time the springs will settle to about a 3" lower rear end. Anyone had that experience with Posies?

Also, I was going to go ahead and do 2" or 3" lowering blocks as well. Good idea? Bad idea?

I remember someone posting on here the KYB Shock Absorber number to use but can't find it. Anyone know?

Right now the rear is higher than the front. My goal is to have the car low and level, so I was going to get the back where i want it and then decide if I need to do the Aerostar spring replacement on the front? Thoughts?

Any help would be great. Thanks.

I just have bought the 90 Aerostar front coils and the 3" drop Posies leafs fro the rear. I have never installed a set myself but the guy that does my more difficult fab stuff for me says he loves them and they really work well. I also know a guy that cut a 1/4 round off his aerostar springs to get it a little lower but he is having a little bump stop interference with it. Will post pictures when I make the swap.

I know some of you want a certain stance "right now" it doesn't work that way with springs, allow at least 6 months with a fair amount of driving total for them to settle before doing more mods to them. You can always throw some weight in the rear to help things along.

I did the areo springs and that has been the best swap I have done.I do have some pic in my profile past threads.I think if I remember I got them off amazon delivered for 50 bucks.I had a pair of cut springs in it someone else had done and just couldnt stand the bottom out and did the spring change.:DNo bottoming out now and sits low and rides like it should,3 inch blocks and stock rear springs with air shocks http://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=703240
