Maybe you personally didn't delete it, Ryan, but there was a thread where someone asked if anyone else liked the old format better. I posted that while I wasn't nuts about the new one it was ok. That thread disappeared right after that. But I am getting used to this new one and finding out how to navigate the differences from the earlier version, so all is good.

(And I have beautiful blue eyes ! :):):))

One thing I've found I like is that when you go to a thread that you have read before to look at the new posts, you don't have to wade through what you've already read, it takes you directly to the new post. This is great on multiple page threads you don't remember which page you have read!

Don the only reason any of those threads get deleted is because people aren't taking the time to read the instructions for the new forum. They are just saying "this ****s" or "the old version was better" without even giving the new one a chance (or offereing any real consrtuctive criticism). If members would take the time to read how to use the new format and its many features, they would stop complaining. I have a feeling alot of these people are the same types who throw the instructions in the garbage when they get a new part, then come onto the HAMB to complain about the manufacturer.

I think the new format is great, I find it alot easier to navigate and find content

EVERYBODY knows how you feel. The soap box is worn out. Damn man, is it warm and tight all the way up there? You've put your 85 cents in on every thread regarding this. Your "love it or leave it" mentality is quite apparent. (and that always works out so well ) YOU LIKE IT - WE GET IT. Lots of other people don't, and lots of those opinions get stifled. Yes not all, but a lot. Don was telling the truth, and we can see the reaction he got - very professional BTW.

I realize the bottom line is this is the man's place to do with what he pleases - so be it. Everybody else does as well, so let's move on already!!!

Agreed... After doing this for 21 years now, I've found that there is nothing worth arguing for on the internet.

I totally get that some folks are gonna like the new format and others aren't. I knew that going in... I mean, I've got plenty of experience doing this sort of thing. For a chuckle, go to our past version announcement threads in 2008, 2005, or 2001 and read some of the responses. Some of the same guys trashing the new format and sticking up for the old were doing the exact same on these past iterations...

That doesn't make these guys hypocrites or **** birds at all... It just means that they resist change. Most of us do... Cuz well, a lot of times change ****s - especially when it comes to something you use every single day of your life. I totally get that.

All that being said, this change was something I really wanted to do... And thus far, I am REALLY happy with the results. This isn't a business for me... It's a p***ion. And that p***ion has been relit a thousands times over the past few months. A lot of that is due to the changes we've done and the changes that are coming.

End game... Stick around and learn the new format - you just might be glad you did. Or, leave the H.A.M.B. and forget about it...

Hey man, enough of the bickering... I prefer we focus on what is working and what is not. I don't really have time officiate folks getting angry with each other right now.

one thing I like is that large photos no longer booger up the whole page. I haven't seen where people would post pictures next to each other rather than on top of each other either, so I guess the new format fixed that as well.

most everything else seems to be the same but different. just a matter of clicking on a ****on and see where you go.
