possible ebay rip off? does anybody know Van Lain in chicago Illinois?

Paypal refunded my money, once I followed all the steps that they required, when I got ripped off... I was really surprised to see the money back in my paypal account! I'm also not sure about the time limit...

 

PayPal refused to refund my $10.00 for some tow dolly plans I never received. The seller (not eBay), apparently claimed he had emailed them and they took his word. Kind of wierd that he wouldn't just re-email, huh?

The point? PayPal ain't gonna help you.

 

There's all kinds of scammers hacking into ebay .....somebody got my ebay info and was trying to sell stuff under my name....I started getting nasty emails from people getting ripped off, and reported to s****@ebay.com. it soon ended....Also, I've seen a lot of cars with " buy it now" prices waaaay below value, like a mint 55 Chev Belair hardtop with a $20,000 paint job for "buy it now'' $7000.....the add always says to phone them, and they don't accept paypal......you KNOW it's gotta be a scam...I'm now pretty leery about dealing with ebay....

 

The offer still stands anything for a fellow HAMBer, all the old dudes I know might even know him from the past or I might even stumble on to something I might need why I'm there.

 

forgot i never did an update here. using the number thirtyfive gave we got in touch with someone there named junior. he was totally on the ball, apologized for everything, and a week later the crank showed up. it mic'ed & balanced out fine, we should be able to make vegas for sure. thanks again to everyone who helped out, i always forget how powerful this place is.
