I have a ported and polished 1973 LT1 sbc 350 w/274H comp cam,10:1 compression with a holley 650 double pumper spread bore. I was trying to figure out what kind of hp it might turn out. I haven't gotten to the point of starting it yet but its almost there. and the machinist that helped with build wasn't sure what it would put out

    Hey M89,
Try this place, ( http://www.wallaceracing.com/Calculators.htm )he has a ton of calculators to estimate what ever you need. It is the most complete auto calculator estimate site that I have found, so far. If you have a problem with one of the calculators or it is not giving you what you need, email the owner and describe what you need. He may be able to alter the figures to get what you need. As it has in the past, it was always hard to estimate what HP each thing you add to your motor will bring. The mfg. claims are sometimes suspect.

I have used his calculators to get weight, est hp, approximate time in 1/8th vs 1/4, etc, check it out. If it works out, do what you can to help in the donations, that keeps his website running.

  4. 346.7 if its tuned right. :D

I got a motor that dynoed @ 50 more HP that the calculators said it would and 25 more than I was looking for. (more or less) Guessing HP is like picking up chicks in a drag bar, you might get lucky but the odds are against it.
