The finish color was much more orange, although the picture looks to have faded quite a bit. I wonder if the lack of respirator was simply "how it was done", or maybe indicates the picture was staged. Looks possibly to be actually spraying something . I didn't expect those cars to be painted at the very end when fully ***embled, as possibly indicated by the vast amounts of masking tape and paper.
You were always supposed to wear some sort of respirator, although many of us didn't !! I remember spraying Candy Apple one night on my T Bucket. About 10 minutes after I finished the brake lights om the T started to flash on and off, although nobody else saw it !!!!
