My grandpa has always been kind of a packrat and keeps ahold alot of stuff, which i love because he has a good many parts and cars from an era that i didnt get to enjoy myself. i found some cars in the back of his 300 acre property which im lookin to build up, when im not workin on the bobber.

let me know what ya think

i know its a chrysler newport, but im not sure the direct year, any help would be great. the body on this thing is great, minimal surface rust, my grandpa says it was parked running so thats a nice thought!

That's a '65 Chrysler, looks like a Newport. 383 or 413 engine. The little wagon looks like a mid-50's Hillman. Good rod material, doesn't look rotten. Hmmm, now, if you stuffed the Chrysler mill in the lil' Limey...........

The Chrysler would be awesome. I was going to buy a '65 New Yorker with a 413 in it, but then I found out the windows had been busted out and the thing's been stored outside... I have a feeling the interior and rust MIGHT be a little much.

The little wagon needs V8 or turbo V6 power and a substantial set of tires tucked under the quarter panels. By substantial I mean in relation to the size of the car. Don't radius the rear wheelwells and have the rubber sticking out 6-10 inches. It would be a fine line to walk and VERY easy to screw up.

ya i think im going to start with the little wagon, and just move the chrysler inside just to keep it from the weather anymore.

im ganna try and smoke out the bees next weekend and get her into the shop! now that you mention a turbo v6, my uncle is a huge grand national fan and last time i talked to him he had a motor he salvaged out of a wrecked one, and i'd love to put that in there.

also takin in concideration of what fab32 said, dose anyone know if these have a normal rear axel, or now that i think of it, it would probly be a better idea to shorten a bigger rear end huh
