Hot Rods Possible Scam?

After my one and only parts request in the cl***ifieds all I can say is that you can often as not get a scammer or a real shakey response.
Best thing is to request current photos with the front page of Today's local to the seller paper clearly in the photo.

 

I thought that was only done on TV in the ‘70s’ for hostage situations.......
Maybe the best thing to do is to walk away !

 

Only problem is.....the printed newspaper is a relatively rare animal now. You might be hard pressed to even find one.
