Here's mine waiting it's turn after the shovelhead build. Hoping to build either a tunnel ram or hilborn injected 289 ford and swap out to slot mags. I've always wanted a 70s style "fad T"
Had not seen that video before. No point in a flame paint job there! It's already Black with flames! Having recently watched superfastmatt's video about the fastest car, I have a better idea what's driving it. That is one where you aren't in the throttle (actually feeding it fuel, like a diesel) very much, judging from the acceleration!
Finally! I'd seen ancient chassis shots of this thing somewhere, but never the whole car. This guy was thinking way outside of the box: Double round tube rail frame, Rocker arm IFS, IRS, Rat motor, crazy custom cab. Outta sight, man. Ill bet it drives very well, but that body side bulge tells me it's probably pretty breezy inside at speed! I'm guessing it's still around somewhere?
I seen it on marketplace for $20k but here's another listing for $15k https://classiccars.com/listings/view/1768552/1923-ford-t-bucket-for-sale-in-cadillac-michigan-49601 .
Good catch! I am very suspect of that lister, though. Seems they have over half the cars advertised in some places. Either they have a very strong outreach on consignment sales or they just list everything they can and collect buyer info. They want to be the middleman for too many cars.
Posted this one over in the OT Interesting thread of cars for sale. Cheapest I've seen for this complete. Wonder about the title (CA title in NV, means skipping, NV requires vehicle inspection for NV title on out of state cars) and doubt it runs right. Would be neat if a HAMBer ended up with it. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/interesting-inexpensive-or-not…but-cool-off-topic-craigslist-marketplace-cars.1316656/page-3#post-15565976 EDIT: It's already sold, that was quick!
Love seeing T-buckets in action - and the fun of open-air cruising! Bugs in your teeth.... Caught 'em both at MSRA's Back to the Fifties Weekend.
Another couple T-buckets caught at BTT50s in Minnesota This one is still owned and driven by the original builder, put together in the late 60s/early 70s
And a couple of gennie 70s style oldies, copies of slides taken at the '79 Street Rod Nats in St. Paul. I seem to remember that the "VANA-T" was actually driven from CA to MN and back.
Can see why it sold quick. You couldn't buy the parts in it for that could you? Besides, it was a "TEA" bucket, upper crust, none of this run-of-the-mill stuff.
The next lowest price in the western half. Next is 13K, next after is 14K. https://skagit.craigslist.org/cto/d/mount-vernon-1923-bucket/7843589906.html and the eastern half lowest, next is 14K. https://sanantonio.craigslist.org/cto/d/bulverde-hot-rod/7843121145.html

Drove the T to the hardware store today, going past the elementary school. It was recess, and the kids were out next to the street (big chain link fence). Got lots of hoots 'n hollers. Got to the end of the block and who was there, turning up toward the playground? This OE guy! Kids had a good car day today! First Friday is this week, so I wiped it down and will try to get the bed cover fur covered for that.
Stumbled over this one posted here. Pretty darn nice. https://www.jalopyjournal.com/forum/threads/70’s-styled-model-t-hotrod.1326832/
