    Hey,
I am really bored right now, so I figured I would ask you guys to post pics of cars with the lowest chops you have ever seen! Like, the "How the hell can they see out the windshield" chops.

    Thanks!

i don't have any digital pix, but Big Al prolly wins the trophy for the smallest windshield.

'course it was race only, not street driven...

There's a A sedan running around here with the top welded to the doors for arm rests with no B or C pillars at all. but 1/2 of the windshield A pillars are still there.

I first thought of Big Al too!
but does a "tupperware" glass body count as "chopped"?
It was molded that way! (See, fiberglass cars can be traditional and cool)
and the driver stuck his head out back of the roof, if I remember right....

    those are all so cool.

maybe it helps in theft control that they are so hard to fit into.

Actually, the original Big Al was steel, chopped 6", but air pressure in the body would blow the suicide doors open through the traps, so Jim built the fiberglass Big Al II with the mailslot windows that is shown in the previous pictures.

I don't have a scanner, so I took some crappy digi pics of a magazine article on it.

That car was built by a HAMBer awhile back who was like 6ft something...

I had an old timer once tell me i should do a dollar bill chop (wich was radical to him back in the days...) on my old 53 while he laid the bill on the window and said 'cut it till the tops meet...' but by some of those pics it seems like kats are using tooth pick packs...lol
