im sorry but this thread needs ressurecting its full of loadsa cracking pics

heres a few from me first is my dad,steve carpy carpenter & andy fish around early 90's

and this one is my dads A in the snow just really influential pics for me

and this is the low flyers at bruntinthorpe in the 80's these are what started the nostalgia rods back up again

 

i agree, this thread is bad ass and needs to be resurrected!

 

I might have missed it here, but I like the one of the top fuel team rebuilding the hemi in the hotel parking in Tulsa. Sorry no pic.

I think the best shot I have seen on the net would be this one.


Then, I think as for the shots that I took, these I think are pretty good.

My old '32 pickup, getting it ready for the local nostalgia drag races the next day.

Then the best picture that I have ever been personally shown was this one. It is a photo of a few guys starting a club here in South Australia in the early 60's. Two of these guys are my friends today. I liked this photo so much that I , with permission, submitted it to Larry O'toole from Graffiti publishing. I guess that Larry liked it so much, out of the 1000's of photos that Larry has, he chose this image to use on the front cover of his 2007 release book 'Australias Hot Rod Pioneers'. A must have book for early Hot Rod history.
