post "All Time"... Hotrodding's Perfect pictures

here's what I know. About 15-20 years ago, I went to a mall type bookstore. There was a book called The AP (associated press) greatest pictures.

They had a few more shots a few milliseconds later that showed the driver strapped in and feet flailing about freely, and also the blower contacting the poor camera man right in the lower back. The camera guy died and I don't know who the driver was or the outcome of this for him.

The book was full of plane crashes, car crashes, fires, natural disasters and lots of death. they also had a drag boat going into a crowd. makes one kind of nostalgic for that 1955 lemans mercedes benz into the crowd accident that killed maybe 80 and injured about 100 more.

very very morbid, but I'm not that highly evolved yet.

Anybody have a picture of Jungle Jim with Jungle Pam near the ground looking at the bite on the car? THAT says drag racing!

 

I had(lost it in the big crash LOL) and I'm sure someone here has that pic of Jungle asleep in the grass under his F/C with a torque wrench on his chest and the sun coming up.
Now that's hardcore drag racer!
Any pic of Jungle Pam ain't bad either.

Yeah,,,,Austin Coil once said that Jungle had the 2 best rides in Drag Racing..

I remember watching that car at Union Grove in the 60's, what a wild ride. He put on quite a show.
