Hello, I posted about my T-bucket stalling a couple months ago and had some good responses...one of them actually helped me to figure out the problem. I was going to update the post with the fix and give thanks to those who chimed in...but it looks like my post was deleted...I wanted to know why? There was nothing vulgar etc. I actually think the problem and answer may help others in the future. Thanks, Russell
If you used the rat rod terminology in your post like you did in your profile that's probably why it was deleted. HRP
Thanks for chiming in. I do not believe I used any certain terminology in the post...I'm guessing that some phrases are unforgivable sins on this forum? If so, that's a shame that someone new to the site cannot participate because of "unwritten" rules and/or "tradition". Oh well...I just wanted to thank who ever it was that gave me good advice and maybe save someone else a headache in the future. Russell
It is a "WRITTEN" rule #4 4. We cover traditional '65 and older American cars only. All other threads will be deleted. We don't cover rat rods, muscle cars, mustangs, or VWs. All the rules can be found here. Hamb Rules
I didn't see any of your original posts, but maybe some of the technology used on your car was considered to new to fit into the general guidelines for the site. It can be a fine line to straddle but it helps keep the Jalopy Journal's mission inline. Stick around awhile, follow a few threads, contribute when you can and you'll get a feel for the place. And either way, glad you got your wheels rollin' again.
Nor did I, but I ***umed the RR terminology could have been used after seeing the users profile.HRP Cars --- 23-T Bucket, 54 Dodge Rat Rod, 70 Roadrunner
