Here is a picture of my '60 squarebird alongside my buddy Cam's '57 Chevy post. The 'bird runs a stock 352 with some loud-ass 2 and a half inch duals and has had all the ugly trim shaved. Plans call for more lowering and some whitewalls with Lancers or '59 Lincoln caps. I'm over the ET five-spokes it came with and don't call it a "gentleman's hot rod", dammit! My buddy's Chevy runs a 454 big block, TH350, and 12-bolt posi. If anyone knows of a good straight axle setup, he's workin' up the nerve to do it.

Yeah, I'm the guy that had the 'bird up for sale last summer. I was planning to use the money for picking up a '54 Bel Air that I know could be had for pretty cheap and using the rest to make the Chevy my new driver. One guy actually gave me 300 cash to hold it, then flaked on me. A few more flakes later, I got disgusted with trying to sell it and am making some small improvements to use as my driver again. Where are you in west Seattle?

Hey cool man! I'm just south of you by lincoln park. 54 Chevys are cool, You ever seen mine around west seattle? There is a 53 150 club coupe not too far from your place that would make a good car. Yeah that bird is a cool car, my friend was in love with it, but couldnt come up with the money. Flakes are everywhere! -J.

Yeah, I checked into that '53 in the alley, and some wacky hippy chick owns it. I told her I'd give her $1500 for it since the engine is seized. She said she wanted $6,000. I told her good luck. I like the Bel-Air trim on the rear fenders, anyway. And '54 grilles are more attractive to me. I can't say I've seen yours around, though. I see a '55 or'6 Buick wagon tearin' around whenever the wife and kid and I go to the park. Is that you? Yeah, I have too much sunk into the t-bird to let it go any cheaper. Is your friend Finn with the Merc Marauder? We should go for a beer sometime or bench race in person.
