Marcus, That's a Motel in Mesa, AZ. If you stay there you would really think you were "Back in the Day"!! They opened in 1939, AND NOTHING HAS BEEN TOUCHED SINCE! The guy who built and ran it, was a Taxidermist, so the front office is an AZ wildlife museum. All the rooms still have the old western style furniture. They even sell the original post cards!! It's extremely cool.

I should have figured that was AZ..My grandparents lived in Tuscon,we used to go to AZ every year,there are alof of Motels like that in the Southwest..I remember staying in places that were totally stuck in the "Jet Age" era of the late 50's and 60's, in the 70's and 80's, My brother and i would laugh our asses off..Now we wish we took pics of those places!! funny how that works out...

Here's my AV8. It's in the process of getting 16" wheels and big and littles on black rims as I type. I want the pre-war look as oppossed to the the early 50's look. More pics when the change is done. Should be by mid-September.
