Post/Thread Deletion

I had a post in my "favorite threads" that i was watching, as I had made a parts deal via the thread ...... All of a sudden, the thread not only disappeared from my 'Favorite Threads List" but it has disappeared from the board as far as I can tell ? What is the life expectency of a post/thread?

Maybe a little over a week ??

It was a WTB post in the classifieds, someone else started the post.... He got two replies, I told the second reply-er if the post-er took the first reply-er's items I would take his, we exchanged PM's, E-mails, struck up a deal and shortly thereafter the Post/Thread was gone ??

No Big deal, I was just curious how things worked around here being a HAMBnewbe and all
