  3. very cool selection I like the Road Rockets and Scroungers. They look very period, simple, clean and traditional. I think I dig the Dickies coat best. The long flannel is very killer, but way too hot for SoCal.

    This is a jacket my parents did for my uncle for his '39 Dodge . . . they have an embroidery business and this was one is from a photo.

    I met a guy who sells at the rosebowl swapmeet. He does chain stitching out of IDAHO? Really traditional looking. Some people are greedy with this kind of info but have at it you guys...

    It seems to boil down to either car coats (wool snap button long coats) and Dickies style jackets ( I call them gas station jackets)

    What do you guys like best?

    Me, I like the wool car coats. I know that So Cal weather is pretty great and wool coats may not be neccesary... but they just look better.

    Discuss please.....
