ryan, it appears that "subscription" has more or less taken the place of the "favorite threads" feature. in the old version when you got to the bottom or a post you could click "favorites" and it would add the post to your list of favorites. any chance a button could be added at the bottom of posts so that we can add the post to our subscriptions? another vote for viewing all pages at once. and upping the limit to 100 posts per page. i haven't yet figgered out how to do links to sites. i thought the last version was pretty slick once you got the hang of it. i mean where you could name the link instead of having the actual character string show up.
Checked my User CP, and the subscribed threads I had are gone? Can I get them back? Also, sometimes the left edge of the white window that displays the tread is a bit scrambled, the text bleeds out of the white box into another seperated edge and the pics and buttons are cropped. I'm on a MAC with netscape if it matters... I like the new look and feel, nice job. The WYSIWYG post entry is great, images show without previewing. Cool. Pete
OBSERVATION: it appears that whenever you reply to a post that that post automatically gets added to your subscription list. can this be turned off? i'd like to keep my subscription list down to only posts i choose.
WHy does it look like it's auto-quoting here? Anyway, I think it's cool that the calendar shows my birthday for today, but I'm not sure about the rest of it!?!
Hit the reply at the top of the page, above all the posts, instead of the reply within a post....at least that appears to be the secret.
Just plain bitchin. It will take some getting used to but then I am the worst with computers. Thanks Ryan for taking care of us and if you need anything just give a yell.
Ryan- I have a dumb question-How do I view more than the few posts on the Techomatic? I tried search and got a few more- how do I look at the Index???

So what do I miss: All Posts, Smiley faces to stop flame wars from starting, a wider screen shot (too narrow on my 19" monitor), the time is off by about 15 minutes (could be important for auctions),my avatar back and speling/gramma checker. No biggies Love the editing features. Found the smilies!! Like the little black "v" to click on to get to the part of the thread you haven't looked at yet. Suggestion for a tech article = tutorial on new features
everything looks good. what happened to the Hamb-o-dex and tech-o-matic? there is only one page. i cant see any of the other ones. i miss the flashing red enevlope. also test for posting a pic.
Everything looks great. Just trying out some functions....WE GOT FONTS....WE GOT COLORS... We got smileys The only thing I'm missing is the flashing envelope. Other than that, this new board.... ROCKS
Ryan, The best message board on the internet just got better..... The look matches/surpasses the look of another message board that I use elsewhere. I always wished that the HAMB would look like that board and now it does that and some. It's new functions are terrific (so far) and hopefully - after the dust settles a little it will be even better. Being able to see a bunch of other posts when writing a reply is one of my favorite things so far. This is going to help posters keep track of who said what and that's a big deal for a guy like me after a good day of sniffing paint and whatnot..... Having a moderator that actually listened to what we asked for is bliss. A big pat on the backs of all involved. I wish I could buy you all a cold one right now. Thanks.
