No worries. Now I have a legit reason to get another snapshot with ya. Of course, we'll take one with my camera as well, just as backup ;) !!

Right now, I'm in Ann Arbor every Tuesday and Wednesday. I'll soon be coming up for longer stretches more towards Plymouth and Livoina.

Even if no car stuff, maybe a snack and chat?

In any case, I am really looking forward to seeing you, and maybe some other HAMBers again.

    Hoboy,

I work on Woodridge Ave and Green Road. I also sometimes work over in Plymouth at our prototype shop.

I know Grand Rivers well. The ex is from Paducah.

Give me a shout about any happenings coming up.

hey Jeem that truck belongs to skipstitch's Mom. his dad just fininished it the day before Goodguys Columbus. Street Rod Builder shot it for a feature on Saturday. You can see more pics on Shawn's web site. www.applemaninteriors.com

  9. That truck doesn't need a label. Bob Appelman is a true hotrodder and hotrod builder evident of his other cars and the cars his son Shawn(are very own Skipstich) builds.

i say the gold truck is a hot rod. paint and wheels don't keep a hot rod from being a hot rod.

i'm not thinking terraplane but i could be wrong. It looks like a late thirties chevy shell to me but i'm unsure.I really like the look, wouldn't mind doing something along those lines for my A.

pretty sure the grille on the model a roadster is a 37 chevy cut down.

  17. It's a 38 Chevy hood/grille(I know the builder) Shawn told me he originally wanted a 38 Ford grille/hood, but the Chevy piece just happened......

Nick it was fun and a great chance to met alot of new folks. , not an event I have to attend each year but a good one. To be honest, I like more then just pre '48 cars. its why I really prefer GG events (thou the entry price was pretty cheap at this show). I really like the huge vendor area. I saw way to many 32 that were basically the same as well as 40 fords.. (I would own either don;t get me wrong). but I really dig 50/60's ride (actually anything done cool up to modern rides).... I will attend again I am sure..

This was with more than a half tank, medium size cooler and a car seat in the back.

    Great pictures Nick!

This picture Nick put up of our two cars together has got me thinking.

Does my car need a little more rake to it. Maybe a 1/2 or 3/4" higher in the rear? Let me know what you think.

    I'd kill for that Austin.

Wouldn't mind if the girls came along with the deal, too. ;)
