  6. a posh northern california venue would be quite acceptable. a true venue for the haute couture, we should have champagne and fillet mignon and sit around in a little circle and drink brandy and smoke cigars.:D

i am thinking "que" it up in the martinez area (it is a great central location for everyone in Nor-cal), there is a killer park right down on the straights. i think there is some cat on here from the mtz. any thoughts...carne asada (california burritos) and beer, or am i just plain nuts help me out here i am a one man show...

why don't you drive down to the next BBQ. you'll get to meet more folks. the next one is already in the planning stages.

  9. ask any one who went to billetproof, a '64 nova stationwagon will hold a grill and plenty of beer. fresh brats taste damn good w/ cold beer. and it aint that hard to marinate flank steak, hun...and yes i will be down for the next one, so pony up and lets make the que roar on the beach. miss "sous chef i can cook all them fancy things" in funny languages and stuff.

your guys show looks great, i miss living in socal, i look forward to coming down to the next one if you guys don't mind. **** i might even drive the T.

  13. you can blow the "nor-cal" out your...i lived in so-cal longer than you have been alive hun:D . i lived in downtown San Diego, golden hills.
so, i am sorry that i missed you, but i didn't see any xk-120's parked there w/ a ****y dressed doll leanin over it, so sorry i was unable to say "hello".
if you like your asada crusty i can accomodate you, me i am partial to slightly pink on the inside.
it has taken a long time but I have finally found a collection of decent mexican shops up here, but the servings, albight good, are small and expensive. so-cal is the mexican food haven. i miss Santana's, Taco's express, Valentine's and all the 'bertos and many are open 24 hours which is almost unheard of up hear.
so i hope the kind benefactor of your wonderful event will release an event date soon and we shall have our meal on the beach.

HEY Dante! Maybe we should do this HAMBBQ thing quarterly. After all we do live in paradise. But quarterly sounds like the thing to do. Might have to find a bigger venue, though, SO CALI HAMBers tend to show up, bring food, musical instruments, share beer and welcome p***ers by. It doesn't get out of hand, but it does seem to grow everytime. I bet the Good Guys started that way. And we are WAY hipper.

HEY HAMBers, what do you think? Should we do this every four months so vacationing folks can make the scene? Can't do it at Paso, that is a place that can't accomodate all the folks who go already. Can't do it at the Cali Hot Rod Reunion, the Vipers already have that covered. Besides all of us ain't drag racing fiends. But we have fine beaches, great parks and some of us will have Grand Openings for our freshly moved shops (hint, hint).

Thanx for the tip, Brandy. I let this thread slip my mind.

PS, the many 'berto's are one of the best secrets in So Cali. San Diego folks will confirm this. Carne Asada as good as mama made.

Welcome Texans. Bring on your puny chili.
