I just got a 73 cadillac in trade for some work..and a little cash. It was just too good to pass up, I was just wondering what potential everyone saw in it? I already plan on lowering it..but other ideas welcomed :)

anything good enough for Barris should be good enough for this board, Well except for monkey's GTO freak of nature.

Cut the back roof section off and make a ghetto Escalade out of it. We pulled the drivetrain out of my 74 deVille and put it in a 39 Pontiac. Big engine for cheap money. We now have a Fleetwood 75 limo with an Eldo 500 laying around. Just looking for the right pickup to come around to make a shop truck.

  10. Sell it to a funeral home and start over with something worth building.

There was a silver 70s hearse around here and it was flamed. But instead of running flames from front to back they ran from the bottom of the car up.
No photos of it, but I liked that treatment on a hearse.
You definitely knew it wasn't still owned by a funeral home, and it's a cheap thing to do, especially compared to chopping it.
I can't see putting the time or $ into a chop or extensive mods, but for a cheap driver that can haul lots of stuff the car's pretty alright in my book.
