I have a 1007b cam ground by Pete (as well as some 425 eliminators for another project). I thought one of the cranks I picked up when I bought the stash of 8ba parts was a merc crank. They are all ford 3.75 stroke. I originally planned my build around a merc crank using the Joe Abbin book.

How does the 1007b respond to a 3.75” stroke as opposed to a 4” stroke? Or should I find a good merc crank?

I was planning on buying 65cc Navarro heads, I have a Navarro 3x2, and was planning on a 3.3125 bore. 1.6 intake and 1.5 exhaust, 185G springs have been bought. Reconditioned 8ba rods. I will also be following Bored and Stoked’s porting guide.

Anything seem wildly off and I need to reconsider my build plan?
