I really didnt think those stories happened anymore... seems like everyone knows what they have and want tons of dough for them too!

 

It must is really cool to find a project like that and then have a tow truck like that to bring it home.

 

I just signed up on HAMB and this was the first post I read. I'm still smiling over it. Dam, I think I'm gonna like it here.

 

UPDATE-----just to show you what a small world it is...........I was in Ft. lauderdale, Fl recently with some friends and at dinner 2 of them were talking about an old jalopy they helped build in the early 60's in Abilene, KS that had a Studebaker V8 in it. Said it was unfinshed and primitive. They were just kids and it was one of their first attempts at welding too. Turns out this is the same car in this story. This project is currently owned by Hamber "Bugsy" from manhattan, ks.
