I have been asked to help organize a car & motorcycle show - POW! Pandemonium on Wheels - at Hawkeye Downs Speedway in Cedar Rapids Iowa on June 13th. All money raised will be donated back to Hawkeye Downs, which is a non-profit organization, for track and facility upgrades. The show is open to all years of cars and motorcycles but I am hoping to have a lot of traditional hot rods and customs on display. Besides the show, we also having a cl***ic rock band and some on-track activities -mini-drags on the track's front stretch and a burn-out contest. Send me a PM / conversation if you are in the Eastern Iowa area and are interested in displaying and helping out the 90 year old race track.
Steve, this sounds like a worthy cause, everyone I know likes Hawkeye Downs, it's a neat old place. Since our show, the S**** Drive, falls on the same day I won't be able to make it. Best of luck with rhe show.
