FYI.....for any of you in the Texas area we will be opening the powder coating part of our business in March 07. Our booth and oven will be 20ft deep and 8wide x 8high so plenty of room for frames, suspension parts etc...
I am looking for someone around here (Midland TX) that does media blasting. I have a hood for a '39 Chevy that I need blasted (not sand blasted). Do you guys do that? Thanks
I don't know of anyone in Midland but I think thier is a guy here in Angelo that does, i will check and let you know...
48.. I had a question about powder coating you might have the awnser i have been looking for!!when people say clear powder coat is this a normal enamel clear over powder coat or is it clear powder over pigment powder.. and can you add toners to the clear powder if it is sprayed over a white for example??Thanks
LUCIFUR--- Some powders such as some metallics, candies and pearls require a clear over them and it is a powder clear. Powders have got very advanced recently, for example the same pearls and metallics that go in automative paint are also mixed in with our powder. Hope this helps.

Too bad you're not clser to us, Gotrust, there is a real good media blaster out between Johnson City & Fredricksburg called Abernathy& Sons Restorations. These guys know their stuff, about 65 an hour. They do excellent work, both in media & restoring. Good stuff.
