I have very little room to add a booster and would need to move the center line several inches over from the pedal center line. Is there any aftermarket thing avalable to do this? In the pictures/drawing I hope you can see how tight the space is. I can easily just get a smaller air cleaner but the cowl on a 36 Ford is very close to the exit for the master cylinder pushrod. Can someone measure a 7" booster for me. How far does it stick out from the firewall. I don't think the master will be a problem, just the booster.
Use a Hydrovac. Can be mounted anywhere-run a hydraulic line from existing master cylinder to the Hydrovac (it acts like a remote master cylinder) and a vacuum line.
http://www.kugelkomponents.com/brake_setups/brake_setups90.php i used thiskit from kugel.i am tight for space behind the gauges i am thinking of extending the linkage and spacing the servo/m cylinder 6-8 inches to the p***enger side
Ever seen a driver's education car? They have a brake pedal mounted on the right. You need a simple bellcrank ***embly. Probably take 2 hrs to make. As a general note, the M/C mount MUST be reinforced at the firewall
That about the same system older dodge vans use starting in 1971. The master was turned 90 degrees under the hood. 1971 was the first year dodge vans had a hood, before that the master was under the floor.
