I’m interested in upgrading my single power brake master cylinder to a dual setup:

    Application:
    1964 Impala SS
    327 ci
    350 tran

Are there any specific dual units that are inclusive of all parts required for the update?
    (Master cylinder, Booster, lines)

First time performing this task, any tips or issues I should be concerned about?

    Product/Business parts recommendations?

    Thanks in advance!

Also, will my dual setup require a proportioning valve?

Make sure you get a MC with the same ID bore. A prop valve will probably not be needed if there will be no change in the brake system but some like to fine tune their system.

Simple! If you're only wanting tandem M/C

Just use a tandem M/C off a 67-70 Impala which has the same bore size but tandem.
Make sure the M/C is for the same configuration as your existing brakes [Drum/Drum or Disk/Drum]

    scroll down to
    NM1494 for front disc brakes
    NM1505 for front drum brakes

If you want to throw a bucket of money at it, try this Boosted AND Tandem

I did a swap on a '65 Chevy, used '70 Chevy donor parts. No proportioning valve, just the appropriate tee, this was drum-drum. I got everything from the donor car. Keep it simple.

On my Ford, it has a GM disc set up in front. I added a distribution block with rear-bias adjustment. It also has a spot for the BL switch.
