Hot Rods Power Brakes?

    Working on 31 Model A with SBC(nothing special) running disk drum brakes and a master cylinder from Speedway (frame mounted). The master cylinder is leaking and I am going to replace, question is:

    Is there benefit to upgrading to a Power Brake ***embly or just replace the master cylinder that I have now? I know the power booster extends the brake ***embly but should have room for the extra length.

    IF...you pick the "correct" master cylinder piston size for your system, you DO NOT require any sort of power booster.
    All depends on brake piston sizes and pedal lever length.

    Look into "Brake Design", it's really not that difficult to figure out.
    I have four wheel disc brakes on two old (50's) cars. They are a two toe effort...
