I just wanted to share this. I ordered a 2X2 Rochester carb set up from Dick (Dick's Hot Rod Place) and got it dialed in to a 327 sbc that had a wild cam. Everything was looking good and then my sb decided to crack a block at the stater bolt boss. After a shit pot full of investigating the weld fixes I decided to replace the block. Money and time got me to choose a long block from GM. A week later I had it bolted in and ready to go but the carbs, set up to the 327 were too much for the 350. The primary would not idle and had to be reset for the new engine. Timing was also an issue and I couldn't get it on the money. Jim(GMC BUBBA) worked his magic and we knew it was good to go. Dick has rebuilt both the primary and secondary and now everything is ready to raise some hell. Oh yeah the cost for the expert advice and repairs on the everything....$0.00.
Thanks, Jim, Dick and the HAMB. See you on the road.
