has anybody out there tried the new power steering kit for 49-51 shoebox from extreme kustoms. (EXK) looks like a good system in the pictures and write up but cant seem to find any reviews on it. thanks.
I don't know if this will help. In My 36 Ford I had a 1970 Mustang steering box ,I saw that Borgeson can out with Ps kit for early mustangs I figured it should work in my 36 ,We put it in & it steers great,the new box is a import box they adopted to work,I don't know if they have a kit for shoebox Fords This was a great choice if You need any info on swap I will answer any questions that I can
I can only comment that EXK's other stuff is exceptional quality, so I bet this is too. Lots of guys here will attest to their high quality stuff.
Wow, I am sure even down under we could get this to work with a RHD box. We have fitted a power rack and an electric power steer pump from off shore Toyota car so the pump will be hidden and work as soon as the ignition is on.
