1952-59 Ford Power Steering

Anyone have the link to the Jeep Cherokee conversion?

 

I don't know if you have onside red his system, but a friend fitted one of these and swears by it.
It is a Borgeson unit and bolts up to the standard steering linkage.

YOu need to modify your column to use it.

A conversion of this sort is in my future as well. Havent quite decided if i want to spring for the Borgeson unit, or do the frame notching route...

 

i was going to have the plates made but only got mine half made. rockabillycat did make some and sell them. so i didnt go any farther with them since there was no need in 2 people doing it. i never got to putting mine on. i stalled out on this project. heres the pictures of an install. not mine. the 1st pic is the plate i was working on.
