Projects Power train swap--250 in a 50 chevy

anybody else doing this swap on there chevy??

 

In the next few week I'll have the motor in the 50.........then wiring..

 

did put a 250 inline in my 50´Fleetline 3y. ago Never regret it!

 

I'll be putting this beauty from GMCBubba into my '52:

 

i put a 292 with a bw t5 in my 49 suburban its a great combo, i am going to install a 250, with 350 tans in my 54 chevy hardtop, and a 250 with a bw t-5 in my 54 chevy truck. heres some pictures of one i installed in a 52 chevy hardtop http://resurrectionvintageautoparts.webs.com/johns52hardtop.htm

 

i got a little feed back from this ol thread today, so i thought i would bump it..

 

Just an update. The 52 is back on the road.

 

I talked to my customer kenny last week and he said the ol chevy runs great and getting 18-19 mpg...gotta love that.

 

I just had someone ask about this build...i hope some of this info helps out...

I am considering the same engine in my 54. I was doing some research came across this thread... wish you were in Dallas ...ugh... If anyone wants to help me do mine. I got free beer, free BBQ and a couple hundy to put in your pocket!!!
