Hi All : Anyone had trouble with the power window on the up swing ? Got a 30 Ford Coupe with the Specialty Window kit installed. The gl*** , when disconnected from the arm slides real easy up & down. The Motor turns slowly in both directions. The Magnet and all the copper was cleaned and excess grease removed from the electrical areas. Is there any special clearances or adjustment to make the gl*** made to be pushed up easier ? Getting ready to make the NHRA Reunion in Oct and getting a little panicky. Thanks, Tom
I would unbolt the bottom of the regulator and see if it moves when going up or down, something is binding. another problem could be in or out. powered graphite in the gl*** channels also help at times
The few of those motors I have worked with did not run slowly. Have you checked grounds ? With the motor not loaded it will get a finger quickly.
