they all had co**** 16 spline input shafts. Is the output shaft co**** or fine spline?

then you need a co**** spline yoke, they were used on most Chevy transmissions from 55 to about 1964.

  5. is it a chevy powerglide?
is it all aluminum or cast iron?
if it's all aluminum and chevy is it air cooled? (air cooled has large holes in the bell area and the torque converter has a metal wind deflector)
if it's all aluminum air cooled and floor shift w/course spline output it's probably from a 62 nova with factory floor shift
the 62 trans had a rear pump and course spline output shaft- anything 63 or newer had a front pump and a fine spline (like a th350 output shaft)
    pictures would help
