I got the Powerglide sorted. It was the little drive pin on the rear pump that was missing, must of fallen out when I had it in bits. The little A truck is road ready (ish) I will post some pics as soon as I have some. For all those that did'nt see it (this message board moves along so fast!) I am Kerry Tate, from England, I have a hotrod shop over here, just a little one man operation, nothing spectacular. I have added a pic of the `32 I built around 4 years back, I drove it for 3 years and sold it when made redundant. I needed the money to setup the buisiness.
Thanks Dave, that would of had me fitting another tranny if you had'nt of mentioned it, took about an hour. How should I adjust the low band? I dont have a torque wrench that starts low enough is there another "old hand" way to do it? Also if I don't connect the kickdown will I get problems? Is there a midpoint I could set it and leave it at? Do you want paying for al these questions? Thanks again, Kerry.
Hey Kerry keep the posts coming, about time you worked on your own hotrod .How do like the dash by the way?...............Marq recognise it?
