    Hi Group
I have several post-war MoPars which run the single, 5/8"-wide fan belts.
My latest is a '46 Plymouth with a 6-volt Powermaster already installed, but with a narrow v-belt pulley. I can see that is not going to work out!
Is there a Powermaster alternator pulley that fits those 5/8"-wide belts?
Why do I see different bore diameters for their pulleys? Are there different shaft diameters?
    Thank you

My suggestion would be to call power master and get some tech support.

Another solution is to scrounge up the narrow harmonic balancer and water pump pulley from a later flathead six. That is what I did a long time ago, granted; it isn't as easy to come up with this stuff now.

I can not answer about Mopar shaft sizes. Now, with GM products I would just swap out pulley from an older generator and put it on the modern alternator.

Can this be done for you, no idea. May be time for some homework on your end.
