Powermate/Coleman spray gun

    [/BHi,
    I have a Powermate/Coleman spray gun my family bought for me. I don't paint for a living , just want to do my own car. It says that it's good for latex, lacquer etc., but not recommended for auto finishing. So, what's the difference between this gun and the cheap Harbor Freight guns that you can use for auto painting? Thanks for any info.]

    I'm guessing tip size and the way it atomizes paint at the tip. What does it look like? Whats the tip size?

    why don't you try it with automotive paint on something small?

    Yeah, you may as well try it and see what happens being as you already have it. Shoot something and see how the paint lays out, then you will know for sure.
