Powermax USA alternators - anyone use them?

I am looking to upgrade to a high output 140A alternator with good output at idle for a Ford 302W and came across these guys on fleabay. I do not want a one wire. Does anybody have any experience of them - issues, reliability, reputation?

I seem to get mixed reports about Powermaster and have had problems in the past with Tuff Stuff. I am open to suggestions....

 

I just bought a 100 amp Powermaster (12SI) for a future project and like the quality, inside and out. ( I pulled it apart to re-clock) Several models, including mine, have a special regulator that allows one or three wire (my choice also) operation. Add the fact they're made close by in IL.

 

I've used them and they seem to be fine. Nothing that jumps out at me about them, they kept the battery charged and seemed to last well. I guess that is all you can ask of an alternator.
