A friend from hotrodders.com directed me over here. I was asking him about the powertrax on his F1 and he said he saved some money by getting it from someone on this board. Told me to shoot on over.

So, does anyone know anything about getting one of those Powertrax no-slip units for a chunk less than retail?

    Thanks,

    Erik

Haha, you guys are so sweet.

I suppose I should've given you an intro, but it's strange, some boards I frequent have guys who prefer just a straight, get to the point kind of post. Even if its from a new guy.

They don't want to hear that my 72 Cutlass has been out of commission for 2 years and how I've given most of an arm and both legs for building a 383 afr headed chevy engine for it. They don't want to hear me talk about the robbins nest that I found in the empty engine compartment this spring. They don't want to hear my trials and tribulations, my problems, my faults, my hilarious adventures due to inexperience and youth. How after everything, frame cracks being welded, engine finally being put in, half of the time with the "gentle" nudging of a hammer on the firewall, the new driveshaft made, and it finally started and broke in, how we can start it with the key but can't turn it off with the key.

They just want to hear what your question is and they'll answer it.

I see it's not like that here. That's fine too. I tried to get a feel for the board but apparently didn't get it right.

The thing of it is I have balls and yes, I occasionally lack common sense.

There, you have my intro. I don't really care about the discount anymore. But you have my intro.

$1225, huh? Hmm, I'll have to think that one over.

    Well, thanks anyway guys.
