Lateness of the day and weather caused me to stop with one coat of PPG MP170 with MP175 hardner. Pot life is supposedly 8 hours but I put it in the fridge. Will that extend the life for an additional 10-15 hours or is it likely to cause me more trouble than it's worth in savings?

I also have a pint of PPG MBC/MTK (A) code with Omni AU MH167 hardner for the top coat over the epoxy primer. What are the mix proportions?
    Thanks

I worked at a body shop where we got the wise idea to save money and materials we would save mixed DP-40 in the fridge. It might work for next day stuff, but any longer and we would get some condensation inside the can in our humid weather. But it did keep it from getting hard for a little while. I wouldn't do it.:D

I have done it with that product many times and it worked fine, but I always used it the next day. The stuff is too expensive to throw away.

My business used a lot of PPG DP primer. I saved it in the cup for my siphon primer gun. Seal it well. That can be done by stretching a rubber glove over opening of the container, with Saran wrap & rubber band, polyethylene & rubber band, or whatever. I can tell you PPG DP primer saves just fine for 24 hours. I have never tried longer as it seems to be curing a little at that point. Although it increases shrinkage and reduces build, it's ok to add a little lacquer thinner if needed. Make sure the primer is back to room temp before using or you're asking for trouble you will probably get.

UPDATE I brought the epoxy primer out of the fridge at 8am this morning and used it around 3pm with no problems.
    Thanks for the responses.
