After one week I blocked my stuff down, Can I apply more
    clear without any worries?

Time frame, the clear was sprayed one week ago, I blocked the tank down last night, and I want to apply another layer of clear tomorrow. Im afraid I have a thin spot and will hit some metal flake if I block it any finer and polish.

PPG 2021 clear with dcx61 hardener.

    thanks in advance.

    yes...

make sure its sanded well, and pay extra attention to the edges- the edges are where it'll peel back from if you leave em shiney-

For some the 1500 may be. But it will still stick well. Your suspect of 'too thin area' so coarse grit is risky. Hose the clear. Coverage. More material, so your never fear a burn through. Good luck, and a pic later please.

1500 is good, since your reclearing it you couldve sanded it with anything from 600 and up...

the smaller the teeth like 1500grit the more teeth there are (at a microscopic level) so yeah it'll hold just as good or better than 600.

Scuff it with 1000 grit and you should be fine. We do it all the time at work.
