  1. WOW, Some nice stuff. That green Roadster Pickup needs to lose those wheels. It looked really good with the original wheels.

That is a sad story, I saw it on the street in the later 70's when it looked just like the magazine article. It had a 394 Olds with dual 4's, Spalding Flamethrower and Cad-Lasalle trans. I met the owner who had a great car collection, thought about buying it. He sold it to his brother, who removed the Olds, and put in a Chevy, and those horrible wheels. Other than that, it's a real time capsule, with the metal flake Red and silver interior.

Chris and I trailered the roadster to Jack Slawik's place, unloaded and followed him to Arnie's. I got to see the chassis table he is giving me, Jack built 35 Funny Cars and Dragsters on that table, including Ed McCulloch's Revelloution Dodge, and Twig Zigler's as well.

  5. I see the Leedom cars made it out. I actually helped put the red primer 34 Roadster together. That had to be 30 years ago.

I’ve got one you can practice with on that table. The boy got into this when he was about 2 or 3 and I think I’m missing at least a frame rail. Still have an autographed hero card for the red car I got when I was maybe 4?
